How to Eat Fruits


What is the correct way of eating fruits? We think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It is not easy as you think. It is important to know how and when to eat.

Fruits should be eaten on empty stomach and not after meals as most of them do. If you eat fruits in empty stomach, it will help us in detoxifying our body systems. It will supply you with great deal of energy. It will also help in weight loss.


What happens when you eat fruits along with food?

In case, you eat some food and bite a slice of fruit afterwards. The slice of fruit normally finds it way through the stomach and then in to the intestine. This, is because, fruits contain simple glucose. These are easily, digested unlike the complicated glucoses structures available in our regular foods.  However, this action prevented. When the fruit meets, the food when it is in the process of digestion and the digestive juices the entire mass of the food begins to spoil and starts rotting. This results in your stomach bloating due to the formation of gas in the stomach. Sometimes you even run to the toilet immediately. Therefore, it recommended first having a fruit and consuming any other food after 50- 10 minutes. The process of fruit digestion is very fast.

Ill effects like early greying of hair, balding, nervous outburst and formation of dark circles under the eyes are the common result. Therefore, please make it a habit to eat fruits in empty stomach or at least before you take food. Secrets of beauty, longevity, health, energy and happiness are with you this way.

Eating a whole fruit is better than drinking fruit juices. While drinking fruit juice you need to ensure that you consume mouthful by mouthful, than gulping down in one stretch. Allow the juice to get it mixed with your saliva before swallowing. It is always advisable to eat fruits throughout a day for 2 to 3 days in a week, just see the energy and the radiance in your looks. This may sound difficult since our tongues have already tasted hot spicy foods, but this practised gradually by increasing the number of fruit servings.

KIWI: This is tiny but mighty. It contains plenty of vitamin C even more that oranges. Sufficient quantities of potassium, magnesium vitamin E along with fibre are present in this fruit.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps doctor away. It has very low content of vitamin C, but the presence of antioxidants and flavonoids enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping lower risks of colon cancer, heart attacks and stroke.

ORANGE: This is the sweetest cure. Consuming 2 – 4 oranges keeps common cold away, lowers cholesterol, prevents and dissolves kidney stones as well as the chances of colon cancer.

GAUVA & PAPAYA: This has the highest amount of Vitamin C. Guava is very rich in fibre and helps prevent constipation. Papaya is very rich in carotene and is good for your eyes.
WATERMELON: This is very good thirst quencher.  Though this fruit contains 92 % water, it contains a high dose of glutathione, which helps our immune system. It contains lycopene and tough cancer fighting oxidant.

STRAWBERRY: This fruit contains a very high content of antioxidant. This fruit protects from cancer and prevent blood vessel clogging free radicals.

Lastly very important: Drinking Cold water after a meal can cause cancer. Unbelievable.

It is very satisfying to have cold water after meals. However, drinking cold water as usual solidifies fatty substances present in the food. This will slow down the process of digestion. Thereby, the sludge developed will react with the acids in the stomach and break down and finally absorbed by the intestines quickly. The resultant chemicals form inner linings in the walls of the intestine. These further converts in to fats and form cancer cells.
